Our photovoltaic parks

We are developing three photovoltaic parks across Spain in Badajoz, Cádiz, and Ciudad Real with enough combined output to supply all the homes in the cities of Barcelona and Valencia. Along with other renewable energy generation projects, this will help us become a net zero emissions company by 2050.

Do you want to enjoy 100% renewable energy?

  • Find out how photovoltaic energy works

In case you still have any questions...

  • Sun shining on solar panels

    What are its major advantages?

It's a renewable, efficient, affordable, and unlimited energy source, particularly in a country like Spain that enjoys an average of 2,500 to 3,000 hours of sunlight a year. Also, it doesn't produce any CO2.
  • A photovoltaic solar park

    How do solar panels work?

They are made out of materials that capture sunlight through an electronic device called an inverter, which converts direct current electricity into alternating, the type which is then fed into the power grid.
  • A lit up single family home

Can I request solar energy only?

It can't be guaranteed that the energy supplied to your home is strictly solar as there's no exclusive supply line for it. Also, all the electricity that's generated in Spain is fed into the same distribution network.
A Certificate Maximum Grade Level: 100% Renewable Electricity

Guaranteeing with the highest certification the 100% renewable origin of the electricity we offer

The Spanish National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC) awarded us the highest certification – the A label – for the environmentally friendly origin of the electricity we offer. This makes us the only major retailer, in terms of customers supplied, to be awarded this label for the second year in a row. Also, we provided 100% renewable energy in 2020.
