What is wind energy all about?

Offshore wind energy is generated by grouping a series of wind turbines that float in the sea. Their major advantage is that by floating in the sea they can ensure more stable wind speeds while avoiding any possible obstacles. Ultimately, they generate eco-friendly, renewable wind energy.

How does offshore wind energy work?

It has a maximum height (base + tower + rotor) of 190 meters, half the size of the Empire State Building

Guaranteeing with the highest certification the 100% renewable origin of the electricity we offer

The Spanish National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC) awarded us the highest certification – the A label – for the environmentally friendly origin of the electricity we offer. This makes us the only major retailer, in terms of customers supplied, to be awarded this label for the second year in a row. Also, we provided 100% renewable energy in 2020.
