Recognized for our effective dialogue with investors

It makes us feel truly proud that our process of interaction with investors and climate change initiatives is recognized by some of the prestigious institutions in the sector.

“As lead engagers under Climate Action 100+ and IIGCC we congratulate Repsol on its new commitment to align activities and investments with the goals of the Paris Agreement. By creating a path to firmly transition towards net zero emissions across the value chain by 2050, supported by a decarbonisation process with interim targets, Repsol sets a higher benchmark for the industry. We were pleased to support Repsol on taking this important step forward and look forward to continuing our constructive dialogue with the company on climate action”.

Thank you to Climate Action 100+ for highlighting the constructive and ongoing dialogue it has maintained with Repsol since 2017 in its latest 2020 Progress Report. Our company is proud to have been recognized for being the first to announce its ambition to reach net zero emissions by 2050, the alignment of our price scenarios with Paris Goals, the incorporation of TCFD recommendations into our disclosures, and the revision of trade associations memberships. We look forward to continuing our positive engagement in 2021.
